Stop US-Japanese Aggressive War on China! No Xenophobia!
Stop Residency Fee Hike!
Repeal the Immigration Law!
Fight against Xenophobia and War!
Xenophobia is sweeping across the world, from the US and Europe to every corner of the world. Xenophobia and War are the very nature of imperialism. Japanese imperialism, its Takaichi administration, has positioned Foreign Nationals Policy as one of the flagship agenda and is intensifying xenophobia against foreign residents. This is, in essence, a war policy.
The Takaichi government is aiming to propose a constitutional revision next spring and revise the Three Security Documents by the end of this year. It is frontstaging the Emperor system once again as a pillar of aggressive war to mobilize the nation’s total strength. That is why it is unleashing blatant xenophobia and attacking Koreans, Chinese, and other foreign residents.
The Zero Illegal Immigrants Plan, Tightening of the Regulations to Serve National Interests, Plan to Deport 500 Immigrants by FY 2027, Significant Increase in Residence Application Fees, and Toughening or Revocation of Permanent Residency—are being taken. It is truly unforgivable.
The History of Japanese Imperialist Aggression
Japanese imperialism, under the pretext of Peace in the East and Punishing an Arrogant China, launched wars of aggression and massacred 20 million Asian people. Furthermore, throughout the postwar period, it has consistently refused to acknowledge state-sponsored war crimes such as abduction, forced labor, and the Japanese military’s “Comfort Women” system; far from offering apologies and compensation, it has not even conducted an investigation into the truth. Now, it is distorting history by claiming that the Nanjing Massacre Never Happened and stoking fears by declaring “China threat,” as it charges headlong toward a war of aggression against China.
We can never allow the history of Japanese imperialist aggression in Asia to repeat itself. The intensification of xenophobia is itself the very act of war. Stand in solidarity with Chinese and Korean residents, as well as other foreign nationals, and fight together.
Workers, United, will Never be Defeated!
Doro-Chiba has been fighting against Japanese aggression, war, and xenophobia. In 2003, we established a cooperation with the Seoul Regional Council of the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU), and since then, maintained solidarity through events such as the rallies held annually in both countries every November. We have also strengthened solidarity with the members of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) in the US, labor unions in other countries, and foreign workers and refugees in Japan.
This year, too, delegations, including the KCTU and our foreign comrades in Japan will participate in the November 1 National Workers’ All-out Rally and the October 31 International Workers’ Solidarity Rally.
Let us achieve further progress in international solidarity!
Stop the war of aggression against China and prevent a world war, nuclear war! What is needed is a massive anti-war struggle in Japan and the revival of militant labor unions!
Join the October 31 and November 1 rallies, and rise up and fight together!
